For Kykkos Water it was yet another year where the bar was set high.
It was year 5 and for us, it was a new challenge ahead!
2017 touched the CSR pillar. Taking into account the devostating consequences sustained during the fire in Soleas area in 2016, Kykkos Water chose to take a stand and become one and all with what the brand supports. Green.
The campaing was built around the importance of green and more particularly the importance of trees, giving consumers the opportunity to grow an online tree through our SM platform and magnify this effort in growing real trees in the areas that were in need.
The campaign kick started with an ATL communication and was further enhanced through a Facebook application that encouraged users to plant & name their online tree.
The communication exceed our expectations in terms of engagement & participation. In the 1st week we managed to receive 600 online participations and by the end of the second week, we reached our target of planting 2000 online trees.
It is important to note that the campaign reached the public beyond the TV Commercial, since in the Mall of Nicosia people could watch in real time the progress in numbers of online tress being named & planted by the participants.
The brand has managed once again to remain true to its DNA and proved that a collective effort can have a bigger & deeper impact.
